FOLDING

Custom Folds are welcomed.
BINDING
There are many methods of binding available. The most typically used at Emerald Press are:
Saddle-Stich – A form of binding recommended for books and booklets from 8 to 64 pages. The book or booklet is stapled through the middle fold of its sheets using staples.
Perfect Binding – Single sheets of paper are stacked together with an adhesive applied to the binding edge and then a cover wrapped around the pages.
Wire Binding – This type of binding is a unique system of permanent binding, which has no sharp edges, can lie flat and stays flat when opened.
COLLATING
Collating is the process of sorting multiple documents and/or materials into a particular order in preparation for dispatch.
DRILLING
Drilling is the process of making holes in printed materials for insertion into folders.
DIE CUTTING
Die cutting is a method of using sharp steel ruled stamps or rollers to cut various shapes ie labels, boxes, image shapes. We can cut almost any shape you need.
PERFORATION
Perforation is a hole, or one of a series of holes, bored or punched through something to facilitate separation.
LAMINATION
Lamination is the process of adhearing plastic to a document to protect it.
CREASING
We can make a neat crease on your paper or board so that it can fold without cracking the paper and ink.
